BOPP. Pre-treated biaxially-oriented polypropylene
coated with a high grade pressure sensitive synthetic rubber (hot melt)
adhesive. Tape is printable under a wide range of conditions.
It is waterproof, with high tack and excellent aging properties.
Applications...
Single step surface printing on commercially available
adhesive tape flexographic machines. For manual & automatic
carton sealing. Elongation 110%. Adhesion (minimum): 36 oz/in.

| -Tapes should be at room
temperature (approx. 23C) before use |
| -Printing drum: Cool or
warm (optional), with or without Teflon coating. |
| -Annilox: 80 (200+)
line. |
| -Inks: Polyamide for
Flexographic PP printing; mixture should allow for quick drying; no
wax additive necessary. |
| -Drying: Quartz lamp 7-9
plus maximum air blow. Cool air at rewind station. |
| -Speed: Maximum,
unlimited speed, subject to allowance for full ink drying. |
| -IMPORTANT NOTE: No felt pad
should be used for rubbing tape surface as tape has a special
surface that allows for full ink adhesion and this would be damaged
if rubbed. |
