KPT-1... Wave Solver/Hot Air Leveling Tape
1 mil Electrical Grade Polyimide film coated with a Pre-cured Crosslinked Silicone Adhesive. Total
Thickness: 2.5 mil (0.064mm). Thin and conformable, with outstanding tear and abrasion resistance at elevated
temperatures. Adhesive will thermoset to increase adhesion values. Leaves minimal residue when removed after
manufacturing process; reduces clean-up time and minimizes rejects. Permits observation of board during processing.
Excellent resistance to acids, oils, solvents, aging, staining, water immersion. Protects gold contacts from molten
solder during hot air wave solder leveling process. Adhesion: 20 oz/inch. Tensile:
35 lbs/inch. Elongation: 50%.
Dielectric Strength: 7,500 Volts. Temp. Resistance: -100°F to 550°F (-73°C to
288°C). Color: Amber (transparent) - Mil
Spec: MIL-P-46112 - 3" Plastic Core. |

MMYP-1
0.9 mil Metalized Mylar Polyester Film with a brilliant, vibrant mirror-like finish; coated with an aggressive long lasting
acrylic adhesive system. Tapes have excellent chemical and thermal stability. Silver can be qualified to meet Federal
Spec. #L-T-100B, Type II. 3" Plastic Core.
Colors Available: Silver, Gold and Black.
Applications:
Reflective shielding; industrial & graphic arts; decorative trim, automotive trim, nameplates, electric appliances,
advertising displays; also used for micro film splicing.
